On arrival the airport seemed a bit confusing. Eventually, when I found the customs queue, I was asked what I did for a living..silly me told the truth and said I worked for a newspaper. NOT A GOOD IDEA! Lie about your occupation if it’s something they will find intrusive; they don’t check, its just to write on your visa. It’s unlikely you’ll get your bags checked at customs; they are too engrossed with their own personal lives to bother…you will generally get waived through. Don’t accept lifts from taxis outside the airport; they charge you a fortune and take you half way round the country!!
