The photo is of the new Naukati Bay Marina and Seaplane Base after construction in May 2014 and located on the Naukati Bay waterfront. The FAA Airports AK62 describes Naukati Bay Seaplane Base as being in Nichen Cove on Tuxekan Island which is not correct. Nichen Cove is approximately 1 mile southwest of the actual Naukati Bay Seaplane Base on Tuxekan Island. Naukati Bay is on Prince of Wales Island.

Naukati Bay has limited services. There is a nice float plane dock and you can pitch a tent in the grass. Naukati bay will be getting a new marina and float plane dock in the next couple of years.
