I liked it
I love the airport, they are great. I flew from Bellingham, Washington, to John Wayne and loved it, and way nicer to go to Disneyland from there. And nice and relaxing! Not as crazy busy as LA which was a bonus!
Easy Access, Pass On LAX
My first choice to fly in and out of. Easy freeway access and close parking to terminals. If you like the feeling of power, you’re going to love the take-off, up-up away! I’ve flown in and out of John Wayne Airport many times and have never been regretted it.
The Lamborghini Of All Airports
Everything is nice here. No Traffic. Short Runway is compensated by a vertical lift during takeoff in order to reduce noise pollution around surrounding cities. The airport itself is clean and friendly. The staff and need I say, TSA agents are friendly people who do small talk to lighten your day. I would enjoy coming here for all of my travel experiences.
Forget LAX - Go SNA !
Have flown out of John Wayne many times and the airport is perfect with affordable and close to the building parking. Friendly people (even at security) and a cab ride to any City in OC is absolutley affordable (John Wayne->Huntington Beach $35). SNA is the Mercedes compared to LAX which I rate as the Yugo.
Skip Lax For Most International!!!
Have flown out of John Wayne many times to Europe….prices are a bit lower than bloated LAX, and way less traffic….also so easy to get your baggage…..only drawback is no direct flights to Asia or Europe……if going to Germany via United, you might get stuck in O’Hare for up to 3-4 hours….that in itself can be a nightmare! American will route you through DFW…..better than O’Hare in many ways….weather in winter especially. Access to John Wayne is top notch…..sang yourself a hotel like Choice Suites for their Park n Fly rate if going for a few days or a week…..way cheaper to get a great room there and a ride to the airport than pay the SNA parking…..
A+ service.
