I have traveled extensively both here and abroad since 9/11. I have never seen such an incompetent group of folks going through security. I was one of about 20 passengers and those who had their quart plastic bag full of liquids had quite an experience. Each bottle was removed and examined for the proper size (it’s pretty obvious when a bottle is 1 oz or less that it is acceptable). Then I had a worker try to take away my book of matches. I don’t know if it was legal or not but when I told her that the matches were allowed, she just said yes and let them through. Proper security is what every traveler wants but this was like the Keystone Cops. These folks looked like none of them had ever done the job before.
