Out of all the small airports I have been to this one tops them all. It has 12 gates, but is usually pretty busy. It shares 2 runways with Peterson AFB, so the controllers stay busy with military aircraft utilizing the area frequently. The airport sits on the South end of the city and it fairly easy to get to, and the terminal is only a short walk away no matter where you park at. Security can be busy at times, but every airport today is that way. From inside the terminal you have a great view of Pikes Peak to the West.
