Worst Airport Encountered
This airport would fit seamlessly in any horror movie about cruel and backward countries. Everywhere some sort of corrupt airport security is present on the airport. If you have something in your luggage that they like it is impounded. The security people are rude and corrupt. Airport toilets are mostly dirty or broken, the food served is very bad. Try to avoid this airport if possible.
I have visited PBM a few times and they have improved a lot. The arrivals is much different than before; it is larger, has more air conditioning and more tax-free stores. So I like the way they are growing. The only thing is they need an aviobridge because of the heavy rain showers during the rain season. The personnel at the airport is friendly; before it was worse but it is now improving.
