This is an airport that reflects the area in which it is located. I have travelled through BXU 9 times so far and while its facilities don’t match the big western airports it has enough. You can buy something to eat and drink as well as souvenirs. The security here is the same as in any Filipino airport, very tight. The departure lounge is thankfully air conditioned to an extent and there is a small kiosk as well. There are no airbridges here at BXU but they roll up stairs at both the front and rear of the 737.
