Airport Update
Bislig City
Just got back from Bislig city, spent two weeks there. Really good people/ friendly, please be cautious because wherever you go theres always those evil ones trying to take advantage with you. ATM’s are plenty. If you conduct foreign money exchange go to PNB, you can use your international debit cards or ATM cards and draw money; only pesos will be tendered to you. Max money per transaction is 4000 pesos thats about $100 US dollars, then you can do it again. Go to Tinuyan Falls; to go there you can hire a private jeepney. Ensure to negotiate fare before going and ensure the owner or driver understood you and you demands. Lawigan also is another good place to go. You can go there by boat or land. Another place to go is Hagonoy island – you can go there only by boat. You have to try their crabs – very good and you can purchase it per kilo normally 300 pesos to 350 pesos per kilo. Don’t go more Bargain if you must. Use Buddy system if you go around the town or city. Ensure to carry change and ready money for you. Don’t show your money when you pay. Limit what you carry in your pocket and never know it. Don’t stir people in their face; not a good habit . that’s it for now. I will get more tips later.
the airport is closed ! The major industry in Bislig, PICOP, is closed. I was there for two months and never had any problems. There is an Englishman who has been living next to the seawall for ten years. He can provide advice on everything there. Go down to the seawall and ask for the Englishman, RF#3000.
