Airport
It’s very far compared to the old airport but the place is nice compared to before.
New Bacolod-Silay Airport
A clean, energy efficient and modern airport just 20 minutes away from Bacolod City proper.
Airport - Great Place
It was great. The people there were really accommodating. I love the airport. Everything about Bacolod makes me happy.
Bacolod Airport (BCD)
It is a very old airport with one runway. The runway sticks out into the sea. The terminal is one old decrepit building with minimal amenities. It is air-conditioned. There is only a small snack bar, although additional food can be bought from vendors outside the airport. The largest office is the Philippine Airline office which is air-conditioned. For some reason the small Cebu Pacific terminal is separated from the main terminal used by Philippine Airlines and Air Philippines. This airfield is long overdue for replacement so it is good that the new Silay airport will be open in January of 2007.
I love the scenic back drop when your at the pre departure area. A small yet very modern airport with all the amenities of international standards. I just wish it’ll be expanded soon!
