Cleanliness Of Tokua
I lived in Rabaul near Nonga for the first 11 years of my life, leaving in 1973. I had the opportunity to return in 2005 and loved every minute of my return. I have to say though that I am part of a group on Facebook that would love to see Rabaul revived to some degree but unfortunately i also have to say that I found the entry point into Kokopo through your airport to be disappointing – mainly due to the state of the toilet facilities in the airport – they were terribly unhygienic. This appears to have been a point that many of us found when we returned. A point hat appears to be strongly embraced is that the entry/exit of a place through its airport and sea port must be a welcoming one but unfortunately this was not the case at Tokua.
Alternative names would be RABAUL and KOKOPO. Tokua is not a name normally associated with RAB. Having lived in PNG for 7 years I don’t think I ever heard people travelling to TOKUA most of the time it was Rabaul or Kokopo. Adding these alternatives to the data base would make it more PNG friendly.
