Kuala Lumpur International Airport Reviews (16)
I recently visited KL airport with my wife and my son. It’s a nice airport with all passengers amenities and it’s neatly maintained.
I have been to many international airports on business and pleasure and found KLIA was one of the best airports with the facilities it has.People are very friendly and welcoming.I often stop at KLIA plus visit KL and it is indeed a great nation.
Love It
It’s ultra modern and people there are super friendly.
Gross Toilets
First time here. Men’s toilets in the baggage collect area stank so much that I almost puked before I finished a quick pee. Information counter lady pretty gruff. Would not properly explain how best to get to the city. I asked about the train, and I was told that there was none. I would have to "KLIA" to get one, so I was sent on a sticky bus, which took over an hour. Still have to figure out (for the flight back) the difference between where I landed and KLIA – both figure as KUL? Who can help? Where we landed might have been some low cost terminal – I only say Air Asia planes (our airline) and Malaysian. Flying back one of us is ging again on Air Asia, the other on Emirates – same place? I hope to find out in time.
KLIA
Not a bad airport really; quite efficient and modern, so design by a Japanese, curious really. Not much to complain about but duty free can be expansive, food in particular. Being there a number of times staff very friendly and efficient. Toilets are clean.
Awesome!
KUL (KLIA) is my favorite airport because it’s modern, user friendly airport; beautiful in fact. Designed by a Japanese. It shows Malay design in a contemporary way. Good services and sign is clear, easy to navigate, lots of stores. But the check-in queue is long but people are friendly and multilingual. AWESOME!
KUL
I’ve travelled a lot and KUL/KLIA is one of the best airports for me. That’s why I love going to Malaysia. It’s like my second home already. The airport is clean, spacious, and everyone is accommodating and friendly. Simply one of the best!

Love This Airport
Spacious, beautiful and efficient services. KLIA is truly one of the best airports in the world and one of my favorite airports, too.
Klia (still Underutilized!!)
Gone through KLIA to Bangkok in March 2008 and London Heathrow Oct 2007, so I can say KLIA is still a spacious and an easy airport to get in and out. Services to KL are adequate with buses, high speed rail and taxis, and LCCT is only 15 mins by bus. What KLIA needs to do is to get those vacant shoplots near the viewing platform rented out or try to create a more vibrant atmosphere there!
Klia Airport
A beautiful airport, efficient, spacious, very clean and a fast, futuristic monorail to connect you the international gates. Since it seems to be currently under-used, there is lots of room and plenty of free chairs. I do not understand the comments about chairs, as there are even sleeping types available. I have used it several times over the past few years and there have never been any delays or crowds anywhere. I have only used the KLIA express to get into KL and found to be very punctual and fast (28 minutes as advertised!) with free porters to help you with the luggage. So I would give it my maximum rating.
KLIA
KLIA was voted as the World’s Best Airport (15-25 million passengers per annum) for two consecutive years, in the 2005 AETRA awards and 2006 ACI-ASQ awards.
Could Be Better
Well, we started our journey flying from Perth to KUL, we then had to wait from 10pm to 7am for a flight from KUL to Kuching. This was a horrible wait, the chairs were uncomfortable to sleep and sit on, We decided to go to the desk to check-in to our flight, and we were told we were at the wrong airport, 1hour before the flight. So we had to take a 20minute taxi drive to the LCCT. The airport wasn’t THAT BAD; it was OK, but could be better :)
KUL's Lcct Terminal!
The LCCT terminal at Kuala Lumpur’s airport is mainly for Air Asia. There is a cafe, a newstand with a good selection of books/magazines/maps and candy and toiletries, and a McDonald’s. There is free WiFi but no Internet cafe, so if you don’t have a laptop with you, you can’t check your email. To connect to the main terminal (and all ground transportation to the city)you have to take an old rundown bus for just 2 RM (50 cents) and it takes about 10 minutes.
Kl Inernational Airport (klia)
Designed by renowned Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa, the KLIA is a spectacular feat of construction which combines futuristic technology, Malaysian culture and the rich, tropical splendor of its natural resources, and is regarded as one of the most modern and sophisticated airports in the Asia-Pacific region. It will incorporate forms and systems suggesting advancement and modernization while at the same time, support Malaysia’s cultural history. Amongst the Awards received are: 1. KLIA received the "Gold Award" for the Advertising Award by Air Transport World (ATW) magazine. The award was based on the ‘Integrated for Ease’ advertising campaign, which was created for the marketing of KLIA. 2. KLIA was ranked 5th in the Airport of the Year 2004 survey organised by Skytrax Research, a British based air travel industry research company.
Big but smooth. The staff there is pretty friendly. The airport is greatly designed and I am surprised by the fact that there is actually 2 Terminals and the 2nd one is separated from the Main Terminal, labeled as KLIA2. Taxis service is pretty fine. A lot of cafes and duty free shop inside. Comfortable waiting area. You can wait or probably sleep there is your flight delayed for a long period. Outstanding hotels. Airport is really planned well and located at the heart of the city.
