In recent years, Ende has improved a bit. It has already an airconditioned pre-departure room, 2 x-ray scanners. Arrival hall is still very hot. There is already a regular flights in and out of Ende (twice daily for Kupang : AM and PM (transnusa) and 3 x weekly by Merpati; and 3x weekly to Denpasar with merpati). If you are traveling out of Ende, ensure that you have at least a day allowance for your connecting flights abroad. Traveling in and out of Ende is a bit expensive comparing to routes in Java. Weather, from warm to very warm and humid to very humid.
