Bhopal is the one of the education hub of India and best tourist place.
People’s come from many countries and also from Indian cities to see Bhopal lake, science center, beautiful temple’s or mosque etc. And also from different cities to study in Bhopal therefore connectivity play an important role for city’s development. I think we have to increase Bhopal connectivity.and

I am very surprised to see that no airline are starting flight from Bhopal to other international destinations like Dubai, Malissia, Singapore, Jeddah etc – they can run 1-2 times/a week if no load initially and definitely they will get regular load after 1-2 months.
International Flights
There is no international flight in MP. So it’s better to start services to Dubai, Jeddah, Madina, Malaysia. It’s easy to start cheap flights from here, definitely airlines will never lose; Bhopal is in centre of India.
Direct Flight To Bangalore
BHO can put direct flight to Bangalore via Hyderabad or via Mumbai. Nowadays many people from Bhopal are settled in Bangalore for jobs. BHO has seen that and worked on this option.
Bhopal Air Connectivity
I agree for there is urgent need to connect MP and Bhopal to Bangalore , Chennai, Cochin in south as well as Kolkata and Bhuvaneshwar in east. It is very painful for us in Bangalore to take connecting flights which inevitably involves staying long hours on any airport in the middle.
Needs Expansion
I have been to the airport recently. It is pretty small compared to other airports within India. There is a dire need to make it bigger. With the growing demand there should be a flight connecting Bhopal to south India. To there is none and the only option is to fly via Bombay or Delhi.
It is horrible to say that at this day and age I cannot travel from Bhopal to South India without going via Mumbai or Delhi. And there is no international flights too in spite of the airport built to suit international travel. Why use tax payers hard earned money and not provide the utility? Do you not foresee the demand before you build an airport? For an NRI to travel to Bhopal is a Waste of time, money and energy. It’s high time the government fixes this issue.
