Reykjavik airport has recently been overhauled, with new runway surfaces, taxiways and runway lighting and airport markings. The airport is a convenient stop for business people doing business in Iceland and for Trans Atlantic flights between Europe and USA.
Does not do TransAtlantic flights. For that you want KEF which is a few kilometers away from this airport.
