Luxor Airport
New Airport
Recently Egypt (January 2006) has opened their new airport in Luxor. Instead of the old building we can now experience an ‘international’ airport also in Luxor with shops and cafeteria. Some facilities are still to wish for but – inshallah – it will happen later :-)
I visited the Luxor International Airport in February 2008. It is a modern airport, complete with facilities and shops. The only thing is the airport seems too ‘quiet’ for me as I could find only a few aircraft there. I hope it will attract more airlines in the future.
