We landed at SNU with a Cubana flight from Montreal 15 minutes ahead schedule. This airport is really small. I don’t think that it can handle more than one flight the same time. On our arrival we had to fill in the form for H1N1. The staff at the customs had masks. On our return check-in was slow and disorganized and inside the terminal before passport control was hot with no air condition.

Very small terminal. One runway which is in a very poor shape and a hard bump at one end due to pavement separation. Old Cuban Airforce facility which may still be in use today as the bunkers line the runway. Terminal is outdated and very small.
Santa Clara Airport
The terminal is very small. It could not accomodate more than one flight at the time. There is nothing other than Baggage pick up on the arrival side. On the departure side, there is a little duty free shop and snack bar.
Airport was clean and modern. Duty free was well stocked and good prices. NOTE: If you buy Cigars at the duty free shop beware. Both boxes of Cohibas I bought had tobacco beatles in them. Open boxes there and check. If they don’t let you open them to inspect DON’T BUY! I was out $700 USD.
