Poor Service
My wife’s flight arrived at 6 pm, they pulled the trolley with the luggage up to the window at 6:10….30 minutes later they finally decided to start unloading it onto the belt. It was 7 pm before we got her luggage and out the door. When you have to pay to park at a rat hole and then they make you wait for their stupidity it really makes you understand why people do NOT like Sydney airport. When I complained to an employee, she said, "It’s really not our fault, we had 2 planes land at the same time and and getting them refueled and loaded takes priority over you getting your luggage." I stated , Why don’t you have the personnel to get the planes taken care of?" "I don’t know , I will pass along your complaint" Typical Canadian attitude from "service" businesses, they all think the customer is there for their convenience! Have you ever noticed that businesses have "compliment boxes" here but no complaint boxes?
Airport goons in Sydney chase passengers at 12 am out the terminal, threaten with police if not immediate compliance, lower metal gates and confiscate photos with police threats as this process takes place. As a result 100s of passengers are forced to sleep on concrete in front of washrooms every night. As they say ‘Welcome to Sydney. NEVER SYDNEY FOR ME ANYMORE!
