Visited twice, four times if you count return flights. It’s used from about August to October for Caribou Hunters as last stop before the float plane flight to the hunting or fishing camps. I had nice flights in and out via large (60-70 pass.) twin turbo prop (Air Nortique??). There is a small terminal, not a large number of flights but very busy with lots of activity from outfitters when their groups arrive and depart. No security. Some food is available during busy times and there are vending machines. Also, some vendors of Intuit and Caribou theme gifts for the wives, children and girlfriends. The town’s a real trip! If you go there, go with a group, not alone.
