Nice Little Airport
This is a nice little regional airport on Kangaroo Island 13km out of the main town of Kingscote. It is serviced by 34 seater Saab 340 aircrafts. Only one airline uses the airport and you can only fly to Adelaide from Kingscote. The terminal has a coffee and snack vending machine. There are hire car booths and an airport shuttle. The airport has 3 runways: 1 sealed and two shorter gravel runways.
You can now fly to and from Melbourne to Kingscote (Kangaroo Island). At this stage it’s only seasonal flights and the airport is being upgraded with expected completion in April 2018. Scheduled flights are uneffected by the upgrade.
