GREAT airport, easy and fast.
Ya gotta lighten up...
The cabbies and time share guys are “AT WORK”… its not a big deal… say hola and no thanks… I’ve lived here, during the Minnesota winter, for years and have traveled to many places, this airport is at worst a 7 and somedays its an 9 out of 10. If you want pain and suffering, try Mexico City. The only negative about terminal 3, the new one, is that it is designed for tourists… the arrival area is built for cabs and buses only, locals have a long walk to their car.
Airport No Good
There is no terminal 3 anymore so why is it that flights say Terminal 3. Also, the parking lot is no good; when there is no parking available, why do you have to pay for parking? And, the parking machine did not work today and I spent 30 minutes trying to pay.
Cabo Airport
I’ve flown in and out of SJD well over a dozen times; from my experience to describe it as cramped, that customs is difficult to get through, or that the baggage system is inconvenient, is wholly inaccurate. I’d say the Cabo airport experience is far superior to that of, say Phoenix, or for that matter most major North American airports.
A Very Small Airport
SJD is a very small airport when you are used to airports like Denver and San Francisco. It is very crammed and hot. Customs is very hard to get through and also very crammed. The baggage system is inconvenient. Try to avoid the timeshare people, if you get caught up in them, you will be sorry.
Small Airport
We’ve been to Cabo San Lucas twice and have never had a problem with anything at this airport. Just avoid the timeshare people. As soon as someone asks you what your plans are, that’s a red flag.
I bought a t shirt on my way to the plane and discovered she charged me almost $2600 because she kept putting pesos in as American dollars. Now I’m back in the states and can’t find anyone that can help or who will answer the phone!
